AWHL partners with the People’s Association to empower vulnerable residents

AWHL is proud to announce its collaboration with the People’s Association on Project We Care ENRICH, an initiative launched in April 2017 to empower vulnerable residents by imparting practical skills and knowledge across various industries and interests.

Project We Care ENRICH is a key corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative for AWHL, reflecting its commitment to making an impact on our society. Since its inception, this impactful program has reached over 200 residents, significantly improving their quality of life and enhance mental and social well-being.

To support this commendable cause, NATRAHEA contributes expertise by conducting specialised sessions on spine health, posture care, and simple yet effective exercises. These sessions benefit 45 residents from the Pek Kio and Buona Vista Community Clubs, providing them with valuable skills to manage their physical health and maintain an active lifestyle.

Madam Soi Soi, a 62-year-old resident of Pek Kio, expresses her gratitude for the program: “This is a good programme as we are staying in rental blocks and cannot afford to pay for classes. The exercises learned are useful and simple, and I can do them daily at home when my joints are aching.”

AWHL and NATRAHEA remain committed to supporting the ENRICH initiative, recognising the positive impact such programs have on the community. By offering valuable knowledge, and practical skills, AWHL and NATRAHEA aim to foster a healthier, more informed, and connected community.
